Biography I’m an artist living and creating in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. I was born in China and have lived in Canada since 2009. I studied at the Shanghai Teacher’s University and broadened my education at the Central Institute of the Fine Arts in Beijing. Following my relocation to Canada, I studied art and design at the University of Saskatchewan. As far back as I can remember, I have always liked to draw and this love for drawing has evolved into my lifetime pursuit of being an artist. Whether drawing or painting, I am energized when I create art and immediately feel more alive. I love to observe the natural world around me and to translate what I see and feel into works of art. It’s the thrill of the chase that I most enjoy, rapidly trying to capture the fleeting moments of life. My current inspiration comes from the nature’s impression. I find nothing more inspiring than being out in the open with my materials and equipment, absorbed in observation and imagination.
